A downloadable game
A Yume Nikki Fangame for Dream Diary Jam 8.
(THIS GAME FEATURES DISCUSSIONS OF SEX, NUDITY, AND DYSPHORIA THAT MAY BE UNCOMFORTABLE FOR SOME PLAYERS. PLEASE BE WARNED.)
Play as Ivy, a young adult who comes to grapple with their own identity and family as they engross themselves in the world of a TV Show, simply titled, "Frank Show." Learn about yourself, change your body, and come to grips with the things that lay in the recess of your mind.
This demo features 4 effects totals, with a variety of worlds, interactions, events and other neat features. Once 4 effects have been found, a green thumbs up will appear in the hub of the dream world, signifying completion of the demo. Please look forward to the full release of the game for more content.
Please use the #jam-entry-talk channel in the Dream Diary Jam 8 Discord (https://discord.gg/AQJbqf45Hf) to report any bugs. Thank you.

Great demo! I really loved the worlds and the music here, looking forward to seeing more.
My one issue is that it takes slightly too long to enter the "dream world". I love the intro to the tv show, but having to sit through it multiple times when i hit a dead end or get caught by an enemy was a bit annoying. otherwise, i loved my experience with this :)
also additional question: In the "storage unit" area i opened the door that contains the red giant who traps me in the cage. Whenever I went back to this area, the giant's door is open and I get the same cutscene and sent back to the cage automatically. Is this intentional?
Ah, sadly no. This will be addressed in a future update. Aswell, I'll look into the chaffeur in the main cinema lobby giving you a nexus warp effect. Thank you for your comment!
<3 awesome
One question, is the download file for Linux or Windows?
RPG Maker 2003 games are typically windows only as they are executable files. Though I am unfamiliar, the use of EasyRPG Player or any other secondary game running apps on Linux should allow for play on other OS's, though this may cause unintended effects. Thank you.
